COPY OF LETTER. X7535P FROM:- PETO & RADFORD, 50, Grosvenor Gardens, LONDON. S.W.1. -------------------- Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. 13th February 1929 ------ Dear Sirs, We have yours of 12th inst. (ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/MS5/P) re Two-unit Batteries, and thank you for the revised blue-print F.79369. With regard to the inter-cell connectors, we have always arched these, and with regard to the Rolls-Royce Monogram, this is a matter for the box moulders, and we take it that they have been instructed and that the boxes we receive will have this on them. We have been frightfully messed up by the box moulding people making all sorts of mistakes and being very much overdue (in fact we have not got any yet) and we wish now we had made the moulds in Dagenite ourselves, when we should have kept to our promise and made, we think, a better looking job. We are rather sorry now we agreed to waive the making of these boxes in Dagenite and to fall in with other people. We hope you are not unduly annoyed with us for the delay, but really it is not our fault. We would very much like to have another of these blueprints. Would you please send us one. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. Sgd. G.R.F.MINCHIN. | ||
