NON SPILLABLE CAP - PETROL TANK FILLER.
E.3/HP.5.7.33. The petrol filler cap, as fitted to 18.C.IV. and upon the performance of which the standardisation sheet was issued, was made to the original experimental model. This differs from LeC.3466 only in the respect that no modifications were made to the mounting of the leather washer, i.e. the leather washer, spring and fulcrum of the lid{A. J. Lidsey} remain as present standard, the sleeve is deleted and replaced by the baffle as shewn on LeC.3466.
