RE: 4¼ LITRE BENTLEY INSTRUCTION BOOK. -------------------------------------- C.1/C.15.6.36. The introduction of a recommendation for the use of Ethyl in the instruction book was made at the direct request of the Experimental Department, who have satisfied themselves that the engine will stand up to it satisfactorily. This matter was raised by the Experimental Department with us, and a suggestion made. We then went back and discussed the matter fully with them, in order to make certain that there was no misunderstanding. In the meantime, it should be clearly understood that exhaust valves have been stellited on the working face in view of making the above recommendation, and that therefore there is no disability in using Ethyl fuel.
