-2- He/Yng.6/MJ.28.2.33. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} (2) 20/70/10 plus 4 cc's. TEL/Gall. Avn/Ben/Meth. plus TEL. for all running in excess of 1500 BHP. and full throttle power curves. The standard carburetter settings were not suited for the conditions of the test and the following deviations from standard arrangements were made - (a) The power jets were disconnected from the throttle and set to flow 1 pint in 38 secs. (b) The mixture jets were set to flow 1 pint in 45 secs. at the full strong position. These settings gave a specific fuel consumption of .526 pts/BHP/Hr. at full throttle and International R.P.M. on 20/70/10 plus 4 cc's. and .526 pts/HP/Hr. at 1500 BHP. and R.P.M. at the established Normal Mixture Control position of 15° from F.S. or D.T.D.134 plus 3 cc's. The endurance test was run using - Fuel - As specified above. Oil - Castor P.2. Spark plugs - Lodge X.170. Averages of readings taken during the test were as follows :- TABLE: 9/10THS RUNNING | R.P.M | % B.H.P | FUEL CONS Pts/BHP/Hr | MC° From FS{F.
