Engine oil temperatures and its return to the Fitting Shop for examination.

It was found necessary to run with an oil inlet temperature of 50°C. in order to maintain the oil outlet temperature at around 100°C., a concession being obtained from the A.I.D. for this.

The engine has now been returned to the Fitting Shop for strip, detail examination, and dimensional check, prior to the 100 hours.
