X402-7 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Wer. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}3/HP.6.12.32. re Peregrine. We send you herewith: LeC.3302 showing the Peregrine cylinder head with modified positions for Nos. 3 and 4 sparking plugs - that is - the two central plugs have been spread outwards, so that we can fit the induction pipe with a complete exhaust jacket. At the same time we are striving to make the uptake pipe from the carburetter about 1 1/2" longer, but this can not be done until we find another position for the steering box. LeC.3302 should not be worked to until we have found a satisfactory new position for the steering. * E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} * The increased space cannot be utilised until we can get the exhaust away below the sparking plug by dropping the carburetter. | ||
