contd :- -3- The Chrysler speedometer readings given are apt to be misleading - the times only should be taken into consideration as the Chrysler speeds are non-corrected speedometer readings. We use x on Pistern Hill two different tests - one for 40/50 cars and one for 20 HP. cars, the increase in performance given by the larger 20 HP. is very definitely appreciated inasmuch as it was found to be too fast to be driven over the 20 HP. test without throttling down to get round the corners in safety. The car was tested therefore on the 40/50 HP. test piece. The power curves given are road wheel HP. and were taken by the Production Testers on the Dynamometer.
