Dear Mr. Robotham,

I am sorry not to have replied to your letter of the 18th before.

The tyres you ask for however, were put in hand immediately, and you should be receiving them within a very short time.

I think I ought to mention that tyres of this type are not regarded by us as suitable for use generally, because they will wear out much more rapidly than the standard type.
