We should certainly like to try a set of tyres of recommended pattern in London on the 20/25 h.p. model to satisfy ourselves of the benefits as regards silence before you go to any trouble or expense in testing out a set of these tyres in France.

I don't suppose we need have very much doubt as to the durability of the tyre, but we ought to be agreed that we are getting some real benefit from the noise point of view first.

We should be prepared to test a set of tyres for this purpose in London as soon as we can have them, and as you are familiar with the type of tyre that we have found the best on the P.III would it be possible for us now to be provided by the Dunlop Company with tyres of a similar pattern for the 20/25 chassis ?

Perhaps you could kindly make some enquiries and let us know when we can expect to receive some of these.
