X.8512.-RE CONDENSERS.

Owing to improvements in the construction of condensers in the Experimental Dept., we are now able to build condensers of requisite capacity, but with a smaller depth at right angles to the plates than heretofore.

It will therefore be feasible to reduce the depth of the condenser box by a corresponding amount and the actual average reduction in the size of the condenser being .100 we shall find that, probably, this size of box will also be suitable for the condensers constructed by the G.E.CO., as our condensers of similar capacity are now only a very slight amount larger than those produced by that company.

We attach two copies of Mr. Coverley's modified method of building up condensers.

Will you kindly instruct the alteration to the condenser box.
