X.2512.-RE CONDENSERS.

We have modified the method of building up Condensers and we give below the operations that should be followed when assembling:-

(1) Assemble dry.
(2) Place in vacuum chamber for 3 hours.
(3) Remove from vacuum chamber and whilst hot paint with "Armacell Varnish" round the edges and allow this to run in.
(4) To be screwed up tight in cramping fixture.
(5) Bake in stove for 20 hours at 120°F.{Mr Friese}

Thickness of condenser when finished is approximately .4" compared with the last type which was .5".
