X5240 We have not issued a standardisation sheet for these as we do not consider the present design is entirely satisfactory. The cutout requires bringing up to date with the stop as designed for Phantom to prevent the seizing up experienced during the last 10,000 miles test. The controls have become very worn at all the joints, producing rattles and lost movement. We do not consider the pins and knuckles are of sufficient area to withstand wear due to mud and sand to which they are exposed. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
