To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} To RG.{Mr Rowledge} Hsh from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X5240 R2/M5.3.27. 20 HP. CONTROLS. FOR MODEL WITH VERTICAL SHUTTERS. X.5240 X.5250 Your memo. of 28.2.27. N.sch.2362. I agree with your deductions, and I also prefer Probably this has the same imperfections as the main control tubes down the column, but if it is thought that the two tubes give friction and binding in production I think at once we should use a thinner outer tube, and two thin bronze bushes with small collars at each end. It is so easy in this case that my impression is it is worth it, especially as we are saving much by this modification. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
