S/W...Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to JBD{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} 400C C5/C2.5.40 Re Corniche CHASSIS FOR COMPLETION. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/ML29.4.40. [Signature: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}] We are setting about getting the necessary licence, as you will see from copy of C4/C2.5.40 addressed to Sr. There is a certain amount of complication but at the moment it seems that the difficulties can be overcome. I note meantime, what you say regarding the gear-boxes. I also note that you suggest B-2-AW. We rather think B-4-AW because LA.{L. A. Archer} had suggested to JLE{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} that this was the best chassis of the B-Vs{J. Vickers} which he sent down to us. Perhaps you will please let me know if you agree. C. | ||
