To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} 17005 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.2/MA.8.3.32. P.2 DIAMOND ENGINE MOUNTING. We find that it is an advantage to increase the poundage on the friction engine dampers on some cars. The present spring E.53020 will not give the desired increased poundage. So far, when a greater poundage is necessary than standard we have used the spring G.1564 which we have found in the Repair Stores. Will you therefore please instruct a spring to give a load of 300 lbs. to be used as an alternative to E.53020. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/I.A.Leslie. | ||
