7. UNDERSEAT HEATERS.
An underseat heater has been fitted to J.S.30 and will be tested as soon as possible.

8. PISTON OIL-FEED.
All the cars except J.S.30 and 30 G.V11 have oil holes in the rods. It was agreed that the oil holes on S.S.V were to be blocked up again to get a direct comparison as to their effect on cylinder bore wear.

9. INDUCTION INDICATORS.
All cars have been fitted with the new scheme, except 10.S.V.

10. STAINLESS STEEL CHANNELLING.
Now fitted to 12.S.V and seems very promising.

11. AVON TYRES.
Tests are being carried out on tyres submitted by Avons, which indicate that they are not up to necessary standard as regards elimination of squeals on corners. The Avon people are coming up for discussion this week.

12. SHALING TESTING RIG.
Testing delayed due to defective motor. Now ready again.

13. PETROL CARBURETTOR.
It was agreed that tests should be carried out to see if weakness could be eliminated by a blanking plate and, after this system has been completed, it will be fitted to G.S.V to see the effect. In the mean-time, a run will be carried out to see what the system actually gives.
Re. said idling was most erratic, due no doubt to poor mixture control arrangements.

14. MODIFIED R-R SILENCER ON G.W.I.
This only requires a small amount of work to complete it, and should be finished for June 15th.
