H.R.Ricardo Esq.,
Messrs Ricardo & Co (1927) Ltd.,
Bridge Works,
Old Shoreham,
Sussex.

Dear Mr. Ricardo,

I remember, last time I was at Shoreham, seeing a 4 litre 6 cylinder Bentley engine on one of your test beds. We are considering doing some development work on this type of engine, and we are therefore interested to know whether you have carried out any investigation work.

Mr. Hives and myself would like to come down to Shoreham on Tuesday next the 3rd Oct., if this will be convenient for you.

Yours sincerely,
