Complaint Report N.939.
P.III GEARBOX.

3.CM.33. We do not know whether you tried this car - We cannot believe the parts were so incorrectly machined that the cones were .025" out of position. We think that crashing of the teeth when the speeds were not quite synchronised led N. to believe that the teeth engaged too soon. Can you get N. to advise you of the next complaint of this nature so that you can try the car and then rub the cones in the usual manner?

Re the last complaint of a cone being undersize on 3.BU.80, it is .004 too small but as it has never bottomed this could not have been the trouble.
