(Contd-) -2- BY/CRL.{C. R. Lisson}5/E.11.5.38. COMPLAINT. (3). REASON :- The 3rd. Motion Shaft .030 long. (Machining error). COMPLAINT. (4). The Ball in the Plunger Housing not in the centre of its seating in the Selector Shaft. Explanation :- To prevent the Reverse Gear fouling the Overdrive Gear on overrun, the Exptl: Dept. fitted a Washer between the Reverse Gear and the Boss for Reverse Shaft. The D.O. were informed under a memo' to make this solid with the Reverse Shaft, and this was done. REASON :- D.O. Details theoretically correct, but error due to accumulation of limits.
