COMPLAINT.
(3).
REASON :-
The 3rd. Motion Shaft .030 long.
(Machining error).

COMPLAINT.
(4).
The Ball in the Plunger Housing not in the centre of its seating in the Selector Shaft.

Explanation :-
To prevent the Reverse Gear fouling the Overdrive Gear on overrun, the Exptl: Dept. fitted a Washer between the Reverse Gear and the Boss for Reverse Shaft. The D.O. were informed under a memo' to make this solid with the Reverse Shaft, and this was done.

REASON :-
D.O. Details theoretically correct, but error due to accumulation of limits.
Reverse Shaft modified to give extra clearance.
