I cannot sufficiently emphasize the extreme desirability of getting something proved and settled on the steering business at the first possible moment, as regards (if possible) definitely establishing the conditions under which the 1.8 : 720 steering will work satisfactorily. we have 200 cars out with this steering on, and as far as I can gather they are all regarded as unsatisfactory. The 1 5/8" steering appears to give much better satisfaction though not 100%. If you will tell us that for example that Tyre treads not more than 4 1/2" wide. not less than 30 or 35 lbs in front tyres. a particular grade of "shine" on the
