SPENCER MOULTON TYRES.

We did not approve of these tyres, and it is a long time since we tried them.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said he would get a set for trials purposes.

LIAISON BETWEEN WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town AND WORKS.

It was agreed that this should be revived after two months, when R.{Sir Henry Royce} returns home.

DISC WHEELS FOR GOSHAWK.

Sample sets of wire wheels are being obtained, both from Rudge Whitworth and Dunlop.

At present we think that the straight sided tyres are the best, although we could have a beaded edge as well. We have not burnt our boats in this respect, as we shall keep our stock of straight sided wheels down to an absolute minimum.

CROSS STEERING TUBES.

It was agreed that the technical principals of W. should make a request to R.{Sir Henry Royce} with a view to his changing his policy with regard to the changing over of all the remaining cross steering tubes.

WORKS

(1) RE SEASICKNESS. REF. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn3/H9.1.22.

(a) Breather connections to carburetter. It was agreed that we should deal with cases as they come up, and try and get the customer to pay.

(b) Springing to avoid seasickness. Same as above.

(2) POLICY WITH REGARD TO STRAIGHT SIDED TYRES.

It was thought that this conference would not do any good discussing this point.

(3) BATTERIES.
(a) Service.
(b) Responsibility for damaged batteries.

It was agreed that this should be settled between C. and Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
