RE CONFERENCE ON THURSDAY, THE 2nd inst,
DEALING WITH GOSHAWK 11.

RECEIVED FEB 3 1922

Goshawk 11, was thoroughly discussed, and the position now is, that with the exception of the following points we should issue instructions to the Order Office.

(1) Brakes, including levers on back axle, Equalising Gears for hand and footbrake.

We are allowed three weeks from today for W.W. and the Experimental Department to settle up the various points on this job. If not settled by then we will have to instruct the original brake gear.

(2) Exhaust fittings and Silencers.

We are not instructing anything on the matter until one month from date, when Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, must definitely release some scheme to enable us to instruct up for material.

(3) Induction Pipes.

We are doing nothing on this matter for one month from date, when Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, must give us some scheme to go ahead on.

(4) Carburettor.

We are doing nothing on this matter for one month from sate, when Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, must give us some scheme to go ahead on.

(5) Steering Column.

We at once instruct the existing B, type Steering Column and arrange for Dashboard to suit.

(6) Petrol Tank.

As soon as we have detailed this section we will issue it for production on Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s chart.

(7) B. type Pedals.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, has promised to let us have some information as to whether we can use D, type pedals for B type steering. The pedals will be in the new position suitable for D type. We must instruct, if necessary, a scheme of footboards based on D type, but produced in our own Drawing Office.
