Dear Mr. DeLooze,

I thank you for your letter of the 1st inst. I will as requested add a further paragraph to the effect that prior to the final trial the engine, including the transmission and other mechanical parts, was examined by the late Mr. Halliwell, Mr. Willcocks and Messrs. Green and Orme. There is no reason whatever why mention should not be made of this fact and I quite agree that it is advisable to impress on the Jury that the mechanical parts of the Boat were checked by 5 Engineers in all.
