Dear Mr.Butt, I return you herewith proof of Green's evidence and I suggest that the words should be left out of this proof which I have crossed out in pencil, because the work in question was not such as we were responsible for, but belongs to the Builders of the Body. Apart from this, the statement is an excellent one. I suggest that in writing to Mr. Green you should point this out to him and get Green to agree to this, but in any case I presume that he will only be questioned on the statements which are in the proof and not upon anything which is not in the proof.
