Please receive herewith two blueprints of each of the following :-

S.CD.956 Rear Axle Buffer.

Ex.S.1171 Modification to Frame Drillings.
Ex.S.1172 Buffer Support Bracket RH.{R. Hollingworth} 1 off.
Ex.S.1173 " " LH.{Mr Haworth} 1 off.
Ex.S.1174 Rear Axle Buffer. 2 off.
Ex.S.1175 Stiffener for Buffer Support. RH.{R. Hollingworth} 1 off.
Ex.S.1176 Stiffener for Buffer Support. LH.{Mr Haworth} 1 off.

The following parts are not required :-

FB.3590 Bracket on Frame. 2 off.
FB.3591 Stiffener. 2 off.
FB.3594 Axle Buffer. 2 off.

The above is as requested by memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} 1/R.18.10.38. with the effective buffer raised .500 and the buffer shape modified to reduce bump shock.

Kindly produce 2 sets.

We are issuing instructions to ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. to order the Axle Buffer Ex.S.1174.
