The attached prints of FB.3658 show the B.III Frame in the state in which it is intended it should be bought from John Thompsons. The following alterations have been made since 8.B.5 frame was built - 1. Slight increase in strength of the front end of the side member made possible by the lowering of the torque arm spherical rubber. (PD.295). 2. Frame made flat at position where change speed lever is attached, thus allowing plate GB.4159 to be deleted. (PD.295). 3. Rear end of side member made so that the rear cross member for B.III and B.50 will fasten on to a flat portion of the frame. (PD.217). 4. The following additional parts have been added to the Frame-maker's assembly - FB.4166 Bkt. Starting Handle Bearing 1 off FB.4167 Stiffener, " 1 " FB.4201 Bkt. for Triangle Bearing 1 " FB.3583 Distance Piece in Frame for Front Shock Damper. 2 " FB.3632/3 Bkts. on Frame for Support Arch. 1 " each. FB.3634/5 Stiffening Plate for Gusset 1 " " FB.3983/4 Support Bkt.
