| c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 404 CONFIDENTIAL. 15th.November 1938, EY.3/N. Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: 9.B.5. (3.B.5.) During our visit last week we agreed that it was impossible to raise the rear wing as suggested during a previous visit, due to the door shut over the wing which had been overlooked. We would like you to deepen the outside of the rear wing valance by .750 at the top fading it out suitably at the ends. This is possible, as the fully loaded position of the car will be raised by .600 inches. We confirm that the delivery date for this body will have to be postponed from November 12th. by about ten days, and we feel sure you will do all you can to reduce the delay to a minimum. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
