Letter concerning the supply and delivery of Dunlop wheels and tyres for testing on 40/50 HP and 20 HP chassis.

Dunlop Detachable Wire Wheels with Wellbase Rims fitted with Triple Block Tyres for test. I confirm mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}1/NJ25.9.25. Herewith I send you copy of letter which the Dunlop Co. have addressed to their Depot in Paris regarding the 18 covers and tubes for 40/50 HP. chassis which are being despatched by the Dunlop Co. direct to France. I hope the instructions which Dunlops have given to their Depot in Paris will meet with your approval. I was informed this morning that the Dunlop Co. failed to deliver last Friday afternoon the 5 additional wheels for 40/50 HP chassis fitted with balancing gear and tyres, making a set of 6 in all. I was very much surprised to hear this, as we have a letter from the Dunlop Co. dated 25th inst. (last Friday) stating that said wheels with balancing gear and tyres were despatched by road transport from Fort Dunlop at noon of that day. I understand that the wheels arrived here on Saturday and hope they are now in your possession. The further 2 wheels and tyres required for the chassis to be tested in France, bringing the equipment up to 8 wheels and tyres, will be delivered as soon as possible, and the further 6 wheels for 40/50 HP. chassis will also be forwarded as soon as possible. As regards the wheels and tyres for 20 HP. chassis, these are to be fitted with 5¼" tyres and it was not possible to get away a set of 6 last week, but I understand that a set of 6 is being sent to us today, so that they should be available tomorrow.
