x7655 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. EFC5/T15.4.29. SS.{S. Smith} PUSH BUTTON SWITCH. We are getting very anxious about the S.S. push button switch because the one we have had on our test rig has now failed badly. We had sometime ago put this up to R.{Sir Henry Royce} that we were dubious about the prospects of satisfactory operation, but have not had a reply, and we think he is waiting for us to send him a model switch. We now hand to you the switch which has failed on our rig and ask you if you will arrange to have this brought up-to-date to the latest instructions at the earliest possible moment, in addition to the switch already instructed, so that we may proceed with tests on our rig. In the meanwhile we are putting it up to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to look into the matter, and if possible putting in readiness to use the old or early design of three point push button switch of this type. EFC. | ||
