To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. PN.{Mr Northey} N7410. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/ADL8.9.31. X5410, SPRINGING. If we look through our records of springing we find that we have seasonal complaints in the same way as we can anticipate that in hot weather we shall get complaints of boiling. During the Summer time when our cars are taken on the Continent we get complaints of insufficient damping. It is also equally certain that during the winter time when the car is mostly used for short runs and Town work we shall get complaints of hard springing. At the moment we appear to have an acute attack of more and more damping. We have been round this problem so often that if we go off in that direction it will only be a matter of a very short time before we are changing back again. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
