Further to our EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/CEP5/EC16.2.23. requesting a label for faulty C.A.V. Battery No.78843.

We have now a further two C.A.V. Batteries type 12 X R2 Nos. 78844 and 79165 which have been removed from tests owing to the terminals breaking loose.

We have not dismantled these batteries in any way to investigate the cause of these breakages. It will therefore be a matter which we shall have to leave to the discretion of the maker's respecting who pays for the repairs entailed.

Will Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} kindly issue labels for releasing these three batteries Nos. 78843, 78844 and 79165 to the stores for despatch to the maker's.
