- 2 - (3). cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} (c). Relation of the dash to the body or if on the body, how it fits to the chassis, and any other similar features. (4). Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} Mr. Frank Dodd, as experimental engineer responsible for body test work, will be completely responsible for all the testing, i.e. such items as follows :- (a). The durability of all body accessories and working parts. (b). The testing of any new method of mounting. (c). The general suitability of the wing form and practicability of body. I have endeavoured to clearly define each persons responsibilities, but I wish to make it clear that I do not want water tight Departments with strictly defined borders. Each of the people concerned must take an interest generally to see that there is no slip up in regard to any points which may come partly in one Department and partly in the other. Having completely cleared the body issue, I do not expect in the future to find that we are hopelessly out of date with the body delivery as compared with the chassis completion, or that special features which are required have been overlooked. The fact that the matter is now completely in our own hands makes each one fully responsible to ensure work being done completely and expeditiously. BY BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
