Dear Sirs,

BODY WORK.

At a Conference at Derby yesterday with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} the following policy was decided upon in connection with body work :-

(a). All bodies for experimental cars in future will be controlled completely from Derby.
Derby will therefore prepare complete specifications for each body, with full instructions as to special work required, with the usual drawings etc. to completely elucidate the points which are being modified in accordance with our requirements.

We will under certain conditions, when to have a body quickly is the determining factor, produce bodies in wood and aluminium to meet such cases, but in general the body specified will include new features in design we wish to test out, and where in conjunction with Park Wards it is agreed that certain features are desirable on production as a result of experimental work a prototype body will be produced and thoroughly tested before instructing such a body for production.

Visits will be frequently made from Derby to Park Wards to discuss points which arise from time to time, and to keep ourselves in close touch with the progress of the bodies and any changes in ideas from the Design Department of Park Wards.

Following any visit a resume of what has been discussed and agreed upon will be made at Derby, and will be empowered by a letter from myself, and in
