Dear Sleator,

During the period of hostilities we propose to appoint you as our Technical Representative in France with regard to liason between ourselves and any French aircraft firms who may be utilising our engines.

We also anticipate that you will be able to help us materially with regard to the transportation of all spares and their distribution to the various units in the field.

The object of this letter is to put you in an official position with regard to the French Air Ministry and their Contractors, and should you require any further authority we shall be glad if you will let us know.
