Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/MH.{M. Huckerby}10.10.39.

We are concerned because nobody has arrived from Paris to be trained at the School. I have cabled you as follows:-

"IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TWO OF YOUR MEN COME OVER AND ATTEND THE SHCOOL SO THEY WILL BE AU COURAINT WITH JOB WHEN YOUR ACTIVITIES COMMENCE. IT IS EXPECTED LIASON WILL SHORTLY BE REQUIRED WITH AMIOT COMPANY."

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} wants you to follow up the Amiot job. They have two of our engines over there and we should like to know when they expect to be flying and whether they are encountering any difficulties.

In order to help you with Amiot's it is essential that you should have some of your staff who are "au fait" with the engines and this is why we want them at the School.

To give you some standing with the French Air Ministry and with their Contractors I enclose a note signed by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}; if this is not sufficient perhaps you will let me know what is required.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
