- 2 - can be built in by which the shutter is automatically closed or opened after or before the key operating the electric equipment of the engine is taken off or inserted respectively. The difference between the known shoke or strangler and the new device is that the former does not shut off the atmosphere definitely but only limits the amount of air which can be sucked in. A further difference is that the shoke or strangler leaves the air-intake open when the engine is standing idle.
