Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of the 10th. August regarding the possibility of Lucas manufacturing pieces, for us.

I quite appreciate the situation, it was good of you to bother.

I enjoyed my visit to your house immensely and am very much impressed by your Shadow Factories.

I hope we shall be able to arrange something about Glasgow at the end of the month; please let me know when you have a very definite idea of when you are going to be up there and I will try and fix something up with Hives.
