Bonnet LRy Jm{Mr Morley} The special sheet steel for B.III bonnet which you asked me to obtain from Messrs.Park Ward has arrived, and is in the Stores. Will you please collect same and ask the Order Office to issue the necessary covering order to Messrs.Park Ward. After talking to the Coachbuilder's about the wavy nature of the bonnet at present fitted to 1.B.5. they have pointed out to us that it is very necessary that steel bonnets that have not been pressed, should be paned all over with a paning hammer. We suggest to you that when 1.B.III is laid up for any purpose you get Messrs.Sanderson & Holmes to do this bonnet, and also any future hand made all steel bonnets should be so treated.
