Huckerby} 30th June 1938. (Dic.29/6/38) Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. C.S. Steadman. We wish to thank you for your letter of the 28th inst. and note that you will be able to manage with a standard HaDees Blower C.H.A.2, which we are arranging to despatch, marked for your attention. Regarding the question of flexible hose, we ourselves are in a difficulty and are at the moment endeavouring to find a source of supply as we shall need something similar to your goodselves. We have in mind Messrs. Petro-Flex Ltd., who are looking into the matter, but we are also in communication with other concerns and will let you know. We would however, point out that our hose would only be 1¼" bore for the De-misters and the De-frosters. As we shall have to obtain supplies for our own use it would be advantageous if you could use our size. Referring back to the Blower C.H.A.2, are we to understand that you propose using it as a Blower only without the four bladed fan, if so, we shall have to slightly modify the Blower, i.e., if the four bladed fan is not used the air inlet to the turbine will have to be modified. Perhaps you could send us a rough sketch contd: To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm. | ||
