Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. C.S. Steadman. We now have pleasure in enclosing you blue print No. EX.Y.10555 showing modified arrangement of the HaDees Heater with the motor housed in the radiator and air arranged to blow forward. The design is, generally speaking, similar to yours and we would point out that the De-mister casting, which is on the side of the unit, can be turned round the opposite way if you wish to have the de-misting connection uppermost. The alternative drawing with the motor housed under the bonnet is not quite completed but we hope to let you have it this week. We have not obtained any detailed information so far in regard to the radiator, as naturally we have to bear in mind that in housing a motor in a radiator there must be an air passage over the motor for cooling purposes. We understand however, that the construction of the Marsden radiator takes this into consideration, and if we do not get a satisfactory design from the present source we will approach Messrs. Marsden's direct. Yours faithfully, For S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm. | ||
