Petrol Tank, Piping & Pumps.

Petrol reserve warning light, delete tap and reserve pipe line.

Fuel pump to have non-inductively wound coils, German zinc material diaphragms, bakelite valves, deletion of valve springs.
(Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring} will supply this unit).
Petrol pump and filter to be fitted up in accordance with LeC.4670. This scheme should be finished this week.

Petrol tank will require anti-surge baffle for tank unit float. Tank to be lightened type to LeC.4520/1.

Pedals.

Strengthened type Cantilever pedals, to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1923/4/5, modified to N.Sch.4156 and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}1/KW.17.4.35.
Operating lever Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1872.

Dashbrackets & Footboards.

Dashboard in magnesium, FB.920.
Metal, rubber covered, to suit isolated change speed mechanism to LeC.4484.

Bijur lubrication.

All Bijur junctions in hot brass pressings.
Present standard made of cast-iron have given trouble in several instances by fracturing.

Shock Dampers.

Valve dampers F.60628. These are standard 25 HP, and save 9 ozs. weight.
