Messrs. The British Belting
& Asbestos Co.Ltd.,
59 Southwark Street,
LONDON S.E.1.

Dear Sirs,

We are anxious to alter the material which we use for supporting our bonnets on the bonnet rest strips. This is at present Ferodo strip approximately .500" wide and .080" thick - we wish to use a softer and more resilient material similar to webbing, and also wish to alter the with to .800" and the thickness to .100" - .125"

Will you please forward us samples of any suitable fabric you may manufacture and also tell us whether it can be impregnated with graphite if necessary.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
