Terminal nuts were not very tight. All other nuts were tight. The cover of this machine is fixed by thumb-nuts on bolts screwed into the end-plate, and bifurcated, as on the R.R. 20 h.p. dynamo. On one of these bolts, one half of the split part had broken off.
