RR 236 (150 BKS.) (BH57. 29-6-20.) MP 22435x ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To __________ Order No. __________ Customer's No. 2 All springs were set in the second notch of the spring arms. The commutator surface was very clean and well polished, but there were circumferential ridges due to the wear of the brushes, of about .02" depth. The control brushes were somewhat sluggish in their holders, especially the outer, the plating of which was coming off. It was noticed that the positive and control brushes were arranged with the flexes away from each other, whilst the negative flexes were both away from the end-plate.
