X4086 P/Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Wa.{Mr Wallis}II/Go.20.6.22 re 7-GOSHAWK II With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/T.13.6.22 Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} is on his way back and has seen driver Toussaint who explained all particulars of running of this car. He went 1500 miles. He did not have to change a wheel therefore I fear his experience re wheels creaking is not sufficient to be of use. I saw R.W's representative tighten the wheels before the trip and it would take some force to make them creak after what he put them through. The battery box supports have arrived and we have handed them to Maddocks. The front springs bumped not the back which Toussaint reports as being on the hard side. WA.{Mr Wallis} | ||
