CHASSIS - WHEELS.
RE QUESTION OF FITTING [STAMP: REC'D] WARLAND DUAL RIMS.

In view of the fact that Col. Matthew of the Dunlop Company informed us that he thought it was almost certain that in September or October of this year wire wheels suitable for straight sided tyres and also straight sided Dunlop tyres would be produced by their Company. In view of this statement therefore and taking into consideration the unsatisfactory nature of the Warland Dual rim it is now considered at the works that we should not accept any more orders at all for Warland Dual rims.

We do not know what to do in regard to the Warland Dual rims which are actually ordered, as it is possible that deliveries of some of these chassis will fall later than the time specified by the Dunlop Company at which they consider they will produce the straight sided tyre and wire wheel to suit. We would like to have Mr. Coman's views on this point, as he might like to take up the question with the customers and obtain their views, in view of the altered conditions.

The definite stand we are now making is the result of having a further string to our bow available in the autumn of the year in the form of the new Dunlop straight sided tyre and wire wheel.
