Trot Salt - Carburation} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}23/KW.4.7.34. Practice Unit for Ulster Race - B-4. We have had a telephone communication from the Aerolite Piston people to say that on finally machining the ones they cast last week they found that they were porous. In consequence they think they are unfit to run and have put a complete new batch in hand, which will not be finished until Tuesday next. In view of this fact we should like you to re-build B-4 unit exactly to its last specification, fitting the Aerolite Pistons which were used previously, and we will then carry out tests on the exhaust system.
