The Ulster Tourist Trophy.

Referring to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 27.6.34.

We have taken particular care that all work which is being undertaken to alter Mr. Hall's car from the standard specification is either covered by the rules or by permission in writing from the R.A.C.

Attached is copy of a letter which we got Mr. Hall to obtain from the R.A.C., which covers the modifications not specifically allowed by the rules. The only alteration not mentioned is that to the gearbox, and we have asked Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} to give us confirmation on this point.
