This pivot is an experimental one slightly thicker in the root of the stub than F.3372. It is also lighter in the U section and is reduced on the taper part of stub between the journals.

Dunlop Wire Wheels, Front Axle, & Pivots.

A complete front axle with wire wheels are being used on the bumping tests and a report will be issued in due course. Nothing has broken so far but the test has only been going on for a few hours.

Light Axle with Double Brakes. X.134.

This axle is now in use and appears to be satisfactory in use. It will therefore be run for a long time to see if it will stand up to its work.

Double Rear Brakes. X.2

The foot brake of 2300 car has lately developed a habit of squeaking just as the car is brought to rest. These brakes have done considerably over 10,000 miles and have only commenced to squeak quite recently. We are trying to find the cause of this.
