36. ENAMEL FINISH OF ENGINE.
This point has been raised on one or two occasions. Is the bright or present dull finish preferable?

37. ARTILLERY WHEELS.
Appearance of large diameter projecting hubs considered satisfactory.

38. HAND BRAKES.
Noisy or ineffective.

39. ROAD SPRINGS. - breakages.
This is appreciated on the 10,000 miles test of Experimental Cars.

40. FUSE BOX COVER.
The awkwardness of refitting this after taking off is a point which has been raised on various occasions.

41. "FLICK" STARTING. - (Starting off switch).
Often complained of and not considered sufficiently reliable.

42. OIL FILLER CAP.
Complained of as being rather cheap and nasty.

43. ENGINE VALVE FAILURES.
'N' have complained of trouble with valves sticking in the guides. We have also had a case of a customer who has had misfiring trouble, considered due to valve failure. We are arranging for the car to come to the Works for investigation.
(This car has now been inspected, and the valve trouble is due to faulty seating, considered R.D.W)
We have also today had 29-MC, major Hodges car sent in to the Repair Dept. for what he reports as valve sticking trouble which has been experienced previously and reported to have [struck through: been] have been corrected by 'N'.
